The Plough Inn is in the heart of Oxford City Centre in a pedestrianised zone. We are a 10-15 minute walk from Oxford train station which has fast routes to both London & Bicester Village.Westgate Shopping Centre and Oxford Ice Rink car parks are both a short walk away if you are driving. There is also limited parking on King Edward Street.
Join us for our Pub Quiz every WILL BE RUNNING PUB QUIZ BUT UNSURE OF DAY OF WEEK, for groups of up to 6. Booking is encouraged.
We also have a shuffleboard table upstairs. Shuffleboard is for groups of 2-8. It is recommended that you book, especially during peak periods otherwise there may be a long wait to play.
You are more than welcome to bring decorations for your event or group booking; however, we do not allow confetti, confetti filled balloons or streamers in any of our spaces.
Children are welcome in our restaurant and main bar until 9pm. Please ask your waiter or at the bar if you would like a children’s menu; please let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements.
Perfectly located directly on the high street in the heart of Oxford City Centre, The Plough Inn welcomes families, tourists, locals, students, and dogs (preferably accompanied by their owners!)
We are a short walk to Christ Church College, the Bodleian Library, Trinity College, Ashmolean Museum, Oxford Castle & Westgate Shopping Centre, as well as any other central Oxford locations.
Dogs are welcome in the downstairs of the pub. Please make sure you let us know if you are bringing your four-legged friend so we can assign your booking appropriately. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
We are fully accessible on the ground floor which includes an accessible bathroom. Our shuffleboard table and dining room are on the first floor which are only accessible via a flight of stairs.
The upstairs is available for private hireand is the perfect place to call home for the evening with its own bar,bathroom facilities and sound system, as well as a shuffleboard table! Areascan be booked in the main bar for smaller groups.
Only celebration cakes allowed.
No other food or own drinks to be consumed on the premises without prior agreement.
